This video is by no means new, but we thought we should update this blog with something. So here goes.
It was produced, shot and edited by Steve Hogg some time in the second half of 2011. Steve has since taken on the role of the lighting and visual side of DYING OF THE LIGHT.

In other news, we are now a two piece. After three years as our live drummer, JP has decided to move on. He has been a great part of DOTL over that time and has added his own touch. It'll be a shame that we haven't been able to capture some of his input in the studio.
We played our first show on Saturday night (see below poster) as just Chris (Bass/Vox) and Rangi (Guitar/drum programming). Considering the whole set was knocked together in under ten days, in our view it worked out particularly well. It also meant we were able to use keyboards and samples that we hadn't been able to use with live drums. On top of that Steve debut his projected back drops which consisted of various pieces of powerful and disturbing footage. We filmed and recorded the night, so expect something from that to be posted soon.
